I have known Father John Fowles for years and support his efforts and that of Father Joel Wallace and team. They are very dedicated and have already created much out of nothing in the Thurgoona Community on the edge of Albury on the NSW / Victorian Border.

 

This is a salute to the good work of Angel Wings Inc. and the “Fly Away To Heaven” Project and I recommend giving full support in the knowledge that the funds will be very wisely utilised in Projects to aid the people of East Timor.

 

As Patron of the “Fly Away to Heaven” Project I invite all Australians to join in this one-off National Fly-a-thon commencing in May 2008.

 

“There is a certain joy in life in helping good causes”, as George Bernard Shaw once wrote, and he was right!

 

It is with pleasure that I strongly support the concept of this worthy project with its outreach to a very poor part of the world, namely East Timor.
